Update:
[Update] The official update notes are now available, confirming the update fixes an issue in Game Library where content was displayed incorrectly in certain conditions.

Earlier this year, another PlayStation 5 System Software update went live, bringing more than just stability and performance improvements. The 22.02-06-50.00 update also introduced support for the DualSense Edge controller. An earlier major update which went live back in September 2022, brought 1440p HDMI Video Output support, one of the most requested features since the console's launch in late 2020, improvements to Game Base, custom gamelists, and much more.

Edge:
With the latest suite of software updates, the new pro-grade DualSense Edge controller has gained support across iOS, iPadOS, macOS and tvOS.

Apple’s support page now features the “PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge Wireless Controller” among the supported PlayStation pads, meaning you’ll be able too connect it to iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV models.

That means you’ll be able to use the high-end gamepad to play supported titles from the App Store, as well as when using the Remote Play app for PlayStation consoles.

This news was to be expected because the standard DualSense controller has been compatible for a couple of years now, as was the DualShock 4 before that.

Leak
A major Australian retailer has generated some buzz by listing PS5 Slim on its website. A slimmer version of the console with a detachable disc drive has been rumored for a while, leading to fans believing an announcement is imminent.

The retailer in question is The Good Guys, which sells consumer electronics in Australia. The listing states:
