Sony has confirmed that the PS5 release date is 12th November in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, and 19th November in the UK and the rest of the world. This sets up a battle royale between the PS5 and new Xbox Series X in time for Christmas 2020 and the holiday season for the Next Gen Gaming.
Sony and Microsoft are working on the next versions of the PlayStation and the Xbox: The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, respectively. Both new consoles are expected to arrive in the the 2020 holiday shopping season.
