PSVR 2 Unboxing & One Week Review | Serious upgrade vs PSVR?

Unboxing the PSVR 2, the PS5 VR gaming headset, with a one week review of the PSVR2's gameplay, vs the original Playstation virtual reality set. While the first version was flawed but fun, the PSVR 2 is a big upgrade in terms of design, ease of use and immersion. If you wanna try virtual reality on your PS5, and you have the cash to spare - do it!

Sure, the games list at launch isn't hugely inspirational, mostly consisting of upgraded versions of MetaQuest titles. However, experiences like Call of the Mountain are truly breathtaking and the PSVR2 has lots of great games hitting Sony's PS5 store soon. Resident Evil Village VR launches with the headset, free for owners of the game.

The tethered design is similar to the HTC Vive headsets, and it never bothered me during my week of testing. That Playstation 5 keeps games running perfectly at 4K, with HDR and 120Hz support. I also love the PSVR 2 controllers, which are a big upgrade over the Move sticks from the first VR headset!

Stay tuned for a round up of the best games for PSVR2, coming soon! In the meantime, are you tempted by the Playstation VR 2 or are you going to wait for a deal/more titles?
