âMarvelâs Spider-Man 2 PS5 release window narrowed to Fall 2023. Sony has narrowed the release window for Marvelâs Spider-Man 2. In teasing some of 2023âs biggest plans, Sony confirmed that the highly anticipated sequel to Insomniac Gamesâ web-slinging blockbuster will release sometime in Fall 2023. In other words, it will be one of the PS5âs big holiday releases. Marvelâs Spider-Man 2 was first teased during the 2021 PlayStation Showcase but we havenât seen much of the game since.

ââFinal Fantasy Pixel Remasterâ Series Is Coming in Spring 2023. In celebrating 35 years of the Final Fantasy franchise, Square Enix has announced the official release of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series. Scheduled to launch digitally in Spring 2023, the series will include Final Fantasy I to VI as a bundle collection or to purchase individually for the Nintendo Switch and Sonyâs Playstation 4. A special -FF35th Anniversary Edition will also be available in a limited run, which will be sold exclusively via the Square Enix Store. Itâll come with a GOODS BOX containing a two-disc vinyl record set with newly arranged game music, an artbook, a set of eight pixel art character figures, as well as a bonus lenticular sleeve for the game package. The standard physical edition of the game retails for $74.99 USD, while the 35th-anniversary edition is priced at $ 259.99 USD and available for preorder via Square Enixâs store.â

Earlier this month, PlayStation revealed that The Last of Us Part 1 will release on PC on March 3rd, and when it does, users will spend a bit less to own the game than it currently costs on PlayStation 5. According to The Last of Us Part 1's listing on Steam, the title will be available for $59.99, which is $10 cheaper than it currently costs on the PlayStation Store. Unsurprisingly, that cheaper price point has sparked a bit of a debate online, with many fans on ResetEra taking Sony to task for charging PlayStation users more than those buying the game on PC. â

â2023 WILL BE A âVERY IMPORTANT YEARâ FOR PLAYSTATION 5, SAYS SONY. The PlayStation 4 Pro was released just three years after the original PS4, and now with the PlayStation 5 entering its third year of release, fans have begun to speculate if the PlayStation 5 Pro is on the horizon. Unfortunately, not many of us have the opportunity to ask Sony such a question directly, but the Japanese magazine Famitsu did just that. The magazine had the opportunity to sit down with Hideaki Nishino, SIE Platform Experience SVP, to talk about the PSVR2 and the future of the PlayStation platform. Nishino gave an exciting response following the observation from Famitsu that the PS4 Pro was released three years after the original launch, which is where the PlayStation 5 is at now in its cycle. Nishino said, âBy the end of fiscal 2022, cumulative sales will exceed 37 million units, and we believe that it will be a very important time for the platform as well. I hope you will look forward to next year (2023).â
