The next generation of gaming is no longer on its way. That’s because we are finally LIVING in the next generation. The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch generation is here and it’s incredible. The generation has already launched to wide acclaim with games like Demon’s Souls, Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As entertaining as the new generation has already been, for many gamers it was just a jumping off point. Modders and engineers have been eager to crack open consoles, controllers and make all sorts of adjustments to the highest end gaming consoles money can buy.
The PS5 has seen people breaking it open to modify it’s storage capacity. You just know that they couldn’t allow Xbox Series X to have more memory. There are also modifications being made in garages as you read this to the already excellent PS5 controllers.
If you think that’s impressive, wait until you discover the works of art they have made the Xbox Series X into. Not only that but they have found new ways to cheat the system and possibly your online matches with many unsavory pieces of tech that are seemingly undetectable.
All that’s nothing compared to the harrowing things that they are doing to the poor little Nintendo Switch. If you thought that console was primarily aimed for kids, I know some modders who would disagree HARD.
